“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be My disciples” (John 15:7-8).

Here at Seattle Foursquare Church we recognize that our vital connection to Jesus Christ is established and nurtured through prayer. The only way we can truly abide in Jesus is to be in constant communication with Him, and prayer is the most fundamental means of that communication. Our fruitfulness individually and corporately depends upon it. We recognize that prayer is not merely preparation for the practical work of ministry, but rather that prayer is the work to which we are called. The practical day-to-day labor of our lives is merely the outworking of the inner relationship we maintain with God through prayer.  This is how we live out and experience the promise of our Lord in John 14:12-14.

To this end, we have a variety of opportunities to join with us in prayer:

  1. Corporate Prayer Meeting: Tuesday nights at 7 pm in the Annex. This is the most important meeting on our regular church calendar. The promise of the Holy Spirit’s coming was fulfilled in a corporate prayer meeting in Acts 2 and we long for nothing less than His fullness when we meet. Join us as we call on the Name of the Lord together in collective intercession and worship. We cannot stress enough how vastly important this meeting is for the Glory of God, the health of our church, and the fruitfulness of our body.

  2. Pre-Service Prayer: Sunday mornings at 8:45 am in the church office. Knowing that every single Sunday presents us with an opportunity to meet with the Living God and minister life to the people, we want to make sure that the worship service is bathed in prayer. This is your opportunity to join us as we pray for the most attended meeting of the week, and petition the Lord for His working within
the body at Seattle Foursquare Church.
