Day Seven: The Silence

Prayer: Lord, I can only imagine the heartbreak felt by the disciples as your body lay in the borrowed tomb. Yet, it was during these moments and hours that you were working powerfully. Help me to remember, as I meditate on these events, that your silence does not imply inactivity. Lord, in this time of silence and what seems like an absence of an answer to prayer, help me remember that you are a God who sees and hears! Help me to persist in prayer, praying with the faith of a mustard seed. Amen.
