Love That Transforms

In this season of anticipation, we remember the greatest act of love in history: God's gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, born in a humble manger to redeem a broken world. This passage from 1 John captures the essence of love; it's not our love reaching up to God, but His perfect love descending to us, calling us to respond by loving others. John 3:16 echoes this truth: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. "God's agape love, shown through Jesus, redeems our past, transforms our present, secures our future, and calls us to love as we are loved. Let this be our anchor as we explore the depths of love this morning.
